What you are describing is not possible, as Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King are NOT stand alone programs. They are expansion packs, which means that without the original World of Warcraft software, they cannot work. They are expansions that have to have the original game to attach themselves to, and then run.

So, no...you can't put them both on one computer as though they were separate 'programs' and that is why when you look into the 'Add or Remove Programs' you only see one file. When Burning Crusade was installed on the computer, it had to already have Classic World of Warcraft installed first, or the Burning Crusade would not have installed. The same is true of Wrath of the Lich King...unless the Classic World of Warcraft AND Burning Crusade were BOTH already installed on the computer, Wrath of the Lich King would not have installed.

If you have two separate accounts, you should be able to log on to either account on the same computer, just enter the login information for the account that you are looking to access. Reinstalling the software will only overwrite what is already there and not change anything other than give you more work that you really need to go through.
References :
Warcraft: Cataclysm

A lot of people don't realize that there are some amazing tools out there to help you build up your World of Warcraft account. It doesn't matter if you are looking to level up faster or if you are trying generate gold to buy new elite armor.
References :
http://iebavai.notlong.com

It is highly unlikely that someone has stolen your email address to set up a Battlenet account. After all, any and all email notifications would go to your email address and you would know. When Warcraft set up the merger...note the term...it was set up so that those who already had Warcraft only had to log into Battlenet the SAME login information that you would have used in Warcraft.

In otherwords, if you signed up with fred@wow.com when you signed up for Warcraft, then just go to Battlenet and login (DO NOT REGISTER) with fred@wow.com. The account is already there, you just have to finalize the merger of your account to the new site...
References :
Warcraft: Cataclysm

If this is your first character, it is important to remember that rogues and warriors are both gear dependent. Meaning, you may have difficulties playing the class if you do not keep your armor / weapons reasonably up to date. This can be supplemented by taking up trade skills such as mining, skinning, or herbalism so you can gather materials and sell them on the auction house (AH) for gold (so you can purchase upgrades), or taking up leather working (for a rogue), or black smithing (for a warrior). But it's been my experience that it's cheaper just to buy off the AH, however.

When it comes to race, there's very little difference as you get up. It may affect the first few levels of your gaming experience, but I suggest simply picking what interests you the most :)

As for sticking to one character, I usually rotate between a few so I'm constantly working with rested experience. It's a real drag to level feeling normal. :)
References :
5+ years of WoW experience.

First of all think about what you want to do in the game. If you chose Warrior, then you can tank in dungeons but if you chose rogue, you can lock pick, do great in PVP and many other things. Next you ask for race. Are you planning on Alliance or Horde?

If Alliance:
Gnome rogue
Draenei Warrior

If Horde:
Undead rogue
Tauren Warrior
