Im using windows xp home and im thinking of changing to windows 7.

I play it on windows 7. Do yourself a favor and rund a Windows 7 compatibility. Windows 7 does not support many older video cards. I had to update mine. Plus its a memory hog. To play WoW, have at minimum 1.5g. Havent noticed any program issues with programs, but i only really use my pc for WoW and internet usage.

World of Warcraft is compatible with Windows 7 but you may need to get hold of the latest version.

There are some software titles that might not be compatible. To check if software is compatible with Windows 7, Microsoft have created a special web site. Enter the application name on the web site and it will tell you about compatibility.

To answer your question regarding World of Warcraft, it depends on the version: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?type=Software&s=world%20of%20warcraft.

When making the choice to transition to Windows 7 please consider your computing needs. You can use the compatibility center (above link) to find out if your software and hardware is compatible. If you wish to run games in XP mode you will need to purchase professional of higher. Some of your games may work in compatibility mode, but it will not be the same as running these in XP.
